句中as if 意为“好像,似乎”,引导方式状语从句从句中的谓语动词用虚拟语气形式。as if 从句用虚拟语气时,表示说话人认为句子陈述的是不真实的或极少有可能发生或存在的情况。
从句虚拟语气动词时态的形式:1). 从句表示与现在事实相反,谓语动词用一般过去时(be动词用were)。例句:She lves the by as if he were her wn child2). 从句表示与过去事实相反,谓语动词用“had+过去分词”。例句:He talked abut Rme as if he had been there befre.
3). 从句表示与将来事实相反,谓语动词用“wuld/culd/might+动词原形”。例句:The nvelist pened his muth as if he wuld say smething.4). 若as if从句所表示的内容为事实或可能为事实,则从句动词用陈述语气。例句:It lks as if it is ging t rain heavily.
