【第二课时】
【教学目标】
1.通过Listen and say的情景对话,帮助学生学习本单元的核心句型What do you like? I like...。
2.通过Do a survey栏目来帮助学生运用核心句型,培养学生的语言运用能力。
【教学重难点】
1.词汇:fun, lovely
2.句型:What do you like? I like robots.
3.日常用语:It's cool.

【教学过程】
I. Pre-task preparations
1.把挂图贴在黑板上,指着不同的玩具图片对学生进行提问,如果学生回答正确,教师将相应的单词卡片贴在黑板上并让学生拼读,复习上一课时所学的单词,为下面的儿歌朗诵作铺垫。
T: (point to the picture of a robot) What's this?
S1: It's a robot
T: (stick the flashcard for robot on the blackboard) Spell the word.
S1: R-O-B-O-T, robot.
T: (point to the picture of a ball) Is this a robot?
S2: No. It's a ball.
T: (stick the flashcard for ball on the blackboard) Spell the word.
S2: B-A-L-L.
...
2.在doll和ball图下方贴上笑脸,并出示一首儿歌,如:
I like the ball.
I like the doll.
I like the ball and the doll.
I like the doll.
I like the ball.
I like the doll and the ball.
让学生模仿和集体朗诵。之后,教师可以让学以小组为单位,用其它玩具词汇替换doll和ball,编一首类似的儿歌,让小组全体成员朗诵给全班听。通过儿歌朗诵复习上节课所学的单词,同时又为后续的学习做铺垫。

II. While-task procedures
1.在黑板上张贴的玩具图片下面张贴“笑脸”和“哭脸”,分别代表like和don't like让学生用句型I like…和I don't like...说一说。
2.T: (stick a smiling face below the balls and stick a crying face bellow the robots) I like balls. I don't like robots.
T: (stick the card “I like...” below the smiling face and “I don't like...” below the crying face) I like balls. I don't like robots.
Ss: I like balls. I don't like robots.

然后,教师可以把笑脸和哭脸移到其他玩具图片下面,让学生进行替换操练。
T: (Put the smiling face below the cars and the crying face below the toy bears) Who wants to try?
S1: I like cars. I don't like toy bears.
最后,邀请个别学生走到黑板前,根据自己的喜好,在喜欢和不喜欢的玩具下面分别贴上笑脸和哭脸,并用I like…和I don't like... 表达。
T. What do you like? Stick and say.
S1: (stick the smiling face below the kites and the crying face below the robots) I like kites. I don't like robots.
3.发一张调查表给学生,让每个学生至少调查两位同学对玩具的喜好情况。调查时,同学分别在表格内写上对方的名字,并根据对方的回答在喜欢的玩具图片下画笑脸,在不喜欢的玩具图片下画哭脸。通过调查活动,帮助学生巩固和运用所学的句型。
S1: Hello, What do you like?
S2: I like toy cars and robots. I don't like kites. What do you like?
S1: I like toy bears. I don't like robots.

S1: Hello! …What do you like?
S3: I like balls. I don't like toy bears. What do you like?

4.出示课本Listen and say的图片,让学生看图听录音,并讨论回答问题。可以将问题及其答案提示张贴在黑板的不同位置,如:对话中的三个人物、各种玩具、哭脸和笑脸等。
(1)Who are they? (They are Mr. Brown, Peter and Sally.)
(2)Where are they? They're at the toy shop.)
(3)What can they see there? (Toy bears and robots.)
(4)What does Peter like? (Robots.)
(5)What does Sally like? (Toy bears.)
5.把核心句型What do you like? I like robots.写在黑板上,让学生跟读数遍。接着,出示不同物品(如玩具、文具、动物等)的图片,问学生喜欢什么,让他们根据图片,用相应的单词替换robots,回答问题。
T: (show the pictures of balls and kites) What do you like?
S1: I like balls.
T: (show the pictures of pandas and monkeys) What do you like?
S2: I like pandas.
然后播放Listen and say的录音,让学生逐句进行个别或集体模仿,再打开书,跟着录音进行逐句跟读模仿和分角色朗读。通过模仿、跟读、朗读使学生掌握对话内容。最后,让学生三人一组分角色表演Listen and say的对话。学生可以根据自己的情况,用自己带来的玩具替换对话中的玩具。通过表演,让学生巩固所学对话,并进一步灵活运用所学词汇和句型。
III. Post-task activities
1.让学生调查另外三至四名同学,完成Do a survey的调查表;也可以让学生四人一组进行问答调查,最后请个别学生或小组长上来做简单的汇报。
2.学生分成若干小组。教师提供一些模拟情景,如玩具店、文具店、水果店等,让各组学生选择一个场景,扮演顾客和店员,自编购物对话。鼓励学生使用他们学过的句型。提醒学生注意用this,the或my来表示特指某个玩具。
S1: (act as a shop assistant) Can I help you? What do you like?
S2: (point to the toy cars) I like toy cars.
S1: Look at this toy car. It's red. It's nice.
S2: I don't like red. I like blue.
S1: Look at this car. It's blue.
S2: I like this car. It's nice. How much is it?
S1: Ten yuan.
