探究二:本单元语法重点宾语从句
1.概念: 在句中担当宾语的从句叫宾语从句。 可作动词宾语,也可做介词宾语。
eg, I know that the man is a policeman. (动词宾语)
Miss Zhang is angry at what you said. (介词宾语)
2.三要素: 1)、 引导词(关联词); 2)、 语序; 3)、 时态。
3.引导宾语从句的常见引导词(关联词):
that, if, whether, what, who, where, why, how等
1).陈述句充当宾语从句时,用that引导,that无词义,在口语或非正式文体中常省略。如:My teacher said (that ) I was a good boy.老师说我是个好男孩。
She doesn’t know (that) she is seriously ill. I am sure (that) he will succeed.
2).当由一般疑问句充当宾语从句时,用if或whether引导,意为“是否”。如:
(1) Is Jim a good student? I don’t know.
I don’t know if /whether Jim is a good student.
(2) Does Kate get up early? Do you know?
Do you know if /whether Kate gets up early?
if/whether 注意:只能用whether不用if 的常见情况
一般情况下,if 和whether可以互换,但以下情况只能用whether:
①与or not连用:
He asked me whether or not I was coming. Let me know whether you can come or not.
②在介词之后:
It depends on whether it is going to rain. I worry about whether I hurt her feelings
③在不定式之前:
We haven’t decided whether to go there. I don’t know whether to accept or refuse.
④宾语从句在句首表示强调时只能用whether :
Whether he can finish the work on time is still a problem . 他是否能准时完成这项工作还是个问题。
⑤在某些动词后面( 如discuss)的宾语从句中用whether:
We discussed whether we had a sports meeting next week.
记:if引导条件状语从句时,意为“如果”。(考点:主将从现,与if引导的宾从时态混考)
The students will go on a picnic if it doesn't rain tomorrow .
4、语序宾语从句的语序:陈述语序(主+谓+其他.即引导词后第一个词是sb./sth.)
I think that we can be good friends.
I can’t remember if I posted the letter.
He asks how he can learn English easily.
5、 宾语从句与主句的时态要相互呼应
1. 如果主句的时态是一般现在时,宾语从句的时态根据具体情况来确定,可以是__一般现在、过去、将来时。(即主现从需)
I don’t think (that) you are right.
Please tell us where we’ll go fishing tomorrow.
Do you know when Mr. Smith moved here?
2. 如果主句的时态是一般过去时,宾语从句只能用相应的过去的时态(一般过去时, 过去进行时, 过去将来时,过去完成时)。(即主过从过)
He told me that he was born in Beijing in 1992.
He said that he would go back to the U.S. soon.
3.从句说明的是一般真理、客观事实、自然现象、名言时,不受主句影响,仍用一般现在时。
Dad told us that it is better to do than to say.
He told the boy that three and three is six.
Could you tell me where the bookshop is.

探究三: 感叹句
用来表达喜、怒、哀、乐等强烈感情的句子叫感叹句。感叹句一般用what或how引导,句末用感叹号。what修饰名词,how修饰形容词或副词。
★ what引导的感叹句:
1.What + a / an +adj.+可数名词单数(+主语+谓语+其他成分)!
例如: What____________ he is!他是多么壮的一个小伙子啊!
What____________Mary is!玛丽是一个多么诚实的小女孩啊!
2.What + adj. + 可数名词复数(+ 主语 + 谓语 + 其他)!
例如:What____________!这些书籍真有趣!
What brave soldiers ____________! 这些士兵们真勇敢啊!
3.What +adj.+不可数名词(+主语+谓语+其他成分)!
例如: What____________ it is today! 今天的天气真不错啊!
★ how引导的感叹句:
1.How + adj.+ a / an +可数名词+主语+谓语+其他成分!
例如: How________________________ it is! 多么振奋人心的一场球赛啊!
How________________________ he is! 他是一位多么善良的老人啊!
2.How + adj./adv.+ 主语+谓语+其他成分!
例如: How________________________! 姚明真高啊!
________ the dragonfly flies! 蜻蜓飞得真快啊!
3.How+ 主语 + 谓语!
例如: How________________!时间过得真快啊!
注意:一般情况下,以what和how开头的感叹句可以相互转换,转换后意义不变。
e.g. ________________ it is! = How________________ !
