    PERU is a cuntry n the Pacific cast f Suth America with three main areas: narrw, dry, flat land running alng the cast, the Andes Muntains, and the Amazn rainfrest.In the 1400s and 1500s, Peru was the centre f the pwerful ancient Inca Empire. The Inca emperr lived in the nw-famus site Machu Picchu. Spain tk cntrl f Peru in the 16th century and ruled until 1821. It is fr this reasn that Spanish is the main fficial language f Peru.
