I asked him,“What’s the first?”and he tld me “Yu”.
It made me feel s special,being picked ver an instrument that culd make such wnderful music with just a bit f help frm the man that was in frnt f me.When he was hme,every waking minute there was music radiating frm it.The music made me feel safe,as if there wasn’t anything else in the wrld but its amazing sunds.I stayed staring at the dust-cvered guitar remembering the last time I saw my dad;he was heading ut nce mre.He was excited and he was always prud f serving his cuntry.
He never cmplained.The nly thing that he wuldn’t like was being away frm Mum and me.
If I had knwn that it was the last time I wuld see him,I wuld have never let him g,and I wuld have begged him nt t leave.I wuld have tld him that I didn’t want the guitar t stay in the crner cllecting dust.

I knew Dad wuld be angry if he fund ut I’d been watching mvies.He’d never let me drive again.I decided t tell him that the car needed sme repairs and that they had taken lnger than expected.I drve up t the place where we had planned t meet and saw Dad waiting patiently n the crner.I aplgised fr being late and tld him that I’d cme as quickly as I culd,but the car had needed sme majr repairs.I’ll never frget the lk he gave me.
