本节课教学内容为科普版小学英语五年级下册Lesson 5  What do you do?中的Let’s learn部分。

二．教学目标

1．能掌握教熟悉的职业名称。

2. 能够理解和掌握句型：What do you do? I’m a … 

Where do you work? I work in(at) …

能正确表达自己的职业及工作地点，并能熟练替换。     

3．能够理解和掌握句型： I can …，理解熟悉职业都能为人们做些什么，培养学生综合运用语言的能力。

三．     教学重难点

重点：四会单词及句型What do you do? I’m a …

Where do you work? I work in(at) …

      I can … 学习与职业话题相联系的用法。

难点：学生能自由表达长大后自己的职业理想，熟练掌握和运用所学句型。

四．教学过程

Step 1:Warming up

1、Free talk.

T：Class begins! Good morning, boys and girls. How are you today?

2. Sing a song.

Do actions and sing 《Do-Re-Mi》

Step 2: Lead in

When I was young, I want to be a teacher like Maria. And now, my dream comes ture. I am very happy. I think you have many dreams ,too.

通过课件复习所学职业名称。

Step 3:Revision

拼写练习。找学生拼写已学过的熟悉的职业名称的单词。

Step 4:Presentation:

1. 学习询问梦想及回答的句型：

   What do you do? I’m a/an …

(1)T：I’d like to ask you. What will you do when you grow up?

S1: I will be a doctor.

T: What about you?

S2: I will be a teacher.

T: Very good. When you want to ask someone’s job, you can say:

  What do you do?

  And you can answer like this: I am a/an …(师板书句子)

   (2)用单词条做替换练习。

   (3)看课件进行pair work.

   (4)打开书，齐读句型。

   (5)Game: Be a little teacher

   2. 学习熟悉的职业能为人们做些什么：

      I can … for the people.

     (1)Learn the phrases:

        cook meals,  draw pictures,  elieve the pain,

grow rice,   sing songs,     build houses,

     (2)Chant:

        an artist, an artist, draw pictures, an artist

        a doctor, a doctor, relieve the pain, a doctor

        a farmer, a farmer, grow rice, a farmer

        a worker, a worker, build houses, a worker

      (3)Learn to make sentences:

         I am a/an ________.

         I can _____________ for the people.

   3. 听音填空。

     T：I have a student. He has many dreams. Do you want to know?

        Let’s listen carefully. Then fill the blanks.

 Step 5: Summary

    1. Look at the blackboard, let’s read the drills together.

 2. Today we have learned how to ask someone’s dream and how to answer, and tell people what will you do for the people.

Step 6: Consolidation and extension practice:

1. 给每个小组发写有关键词的纸条，通过小组讨论，将所给词组合成句子，练习熟练，互问互答。
2. 通过介绍各行各业熟悉的名人，鼓励学生努力学习，实现自己的梦想。

Step 7: Homework

Boys and girls, all of you will grow up .When you grow up, you will do different kinds of jobs for our motherland. Because of you, our motherland will become more beautiful and much stronger. Please talk about your dream to your parents and classmates.
