To ask the time and answer the time.

To use imperatives to give the instructions.

Multimedia, PPT, etc.
【教学过程】
一、导入新课:
Have the students look on the book, and then answer my questions.
1.Song
2.Teach the “clock”
e.g., hour hand, minute hand
二、自主学习
Take out some pictures of ‘clock’ and let them talk about it.
Eg: It’s seven o’clock.
三、新知传授
- Teach “o’clock”
- Practise the sentence pattern
e.g. What time is it? It’s _____o’clock.
- Teach “half past”
- Do a pair work
- Teach “a quarter past” and “fifteen past”
- Do a pair work
- Show a flash

五、课堂实践
S1 (say to S2) What’s time is it?
S2: It’s eight o’clock.
