1. Learn the new words.

(1) Teach the word “face”.

Show the picture of Zoom and point at his face.

T: Look at me! This is my face. Face, /f/-/eɪ/-/s/, /feɪs/.

Teach the sentence “Look at me!” by body language, and teach the word “face” by pointing to different students’ faces.

Write down the sentences “Look at me! This is my face.” on the blackboard. Let students introduce their faces with the sentences “Look at me! This is my face.”

(2) Teach the word “ear”

Circle one of Zoom’s ears.

T:Look at me！This is my ear. Ear, /ɪə(r)/.

Use the word card to teach the word “ear”. Ask students to read the word in different ways.

Write down the word “ear” on the blackboard.

(3) Teach the words “eye”

Circle one of Zoom’s eyes.

Write down the word “eye” on the blackboard. Let students introduce their eyes with the sentences “Look at me! This is my eye.”

(4) Teach the word “nose”.

Circle Zoom’s nose.

Teach the word “nose” by the game “Catch the finger”.

Write down the word “nose” on the blackboard.

(5) Teach the word “mouth”.

Circle Zoom’s mouth.

Teach the word “mouth” by the game of lower and higher voice.
