简单句、并列句和主从复合句

一、简单句(Simple Sentences)
只有一个主谓结构的独立句叫简单句。在简单句中,主语和谓语可以由一个词或短语充当,也可以由两个或两个以上的词或短语充当,组成并列的主语或并列的谓语。除了主语和谓语之外,简单句中还可以有宾语、定语、状语、补语等。简单句主要有八种类型:

二、并列句(Cmpund Sentences)
并列句由两个或两个以上并列而又独立的简单句构成。在并列句中,这些简单句常由并列连词连在一起。并列连词所连接的简单句被称为分句。常见的并列连词有and, but, yet, while, fr, r, s和表示并列关系的bth. . . and. . . , nt. . . but. . . , either. . . r. . . ,neither. . . nr. . . , nt nly. . . but als. . . 等。I help him and he helps me. 我帮助他,他帮助我。This is ur first lessn, s I dn't knw all yur names. 这是我们的第一堂课,因此我不知道大家的名字。She likes bread and milk, but she desn't like eggs at all. 她喜欢面包和牛奶,但她一点也不喜欢鸡蛋。

三、主从复合句(Cmplex Sentences)
(一)主从复合句的结构由一个主句和一个或一个以上的从句构成的句子叫复合句。在复合句中主句是全句的主体,从句是全句的一个成分,不能独立。主句与从句之间用关联词连接起来。此时关联词也叫从属连词,它在主句与从句之间起连接作用。The film had begun when we gt t the cinema. 我们到达电影院的时候,电影已经开演了。
(二)主从复合句的分类根据从句对主句的修饰、限定和补充作用,主从复合句主要分为名词性从句、定语从句和状语从句。
1.名词性从句在句子中起名词作用的从句叫名词性从句。名词性从句的功能相当于名词词组,它在复合句中能担任主语、宾语、表语、同位语,因此根据它在句中不同的语法功能,名词性从句又可分为主语从句、宾语从句、表语从句和同位语从句。
引导名词性从句的连接词可分为三类:从属连词:that, whether, if(不充当从句的任何成分)连接代词:what, whatever, wh, whever, whm, whse, which, whichever连接副词:when, where, hw, why, whenever, wherever

2.定语从句定语从句分为限制性定语从句和非限制性定语从句。限制性定语从句对先行词起修饰限制作用;非限制性定语从句对先行词起补充说明作用。定语从句中的所有关系词不但有具体意义而且都在从句中充当一定的成分。在非限制性定语从句中,先行词与定语从句往往由逗号隔开。
关系代词:wh, whm, whse, which, that等。关系副词:when, where, why等。在定语从句中,关系副词=介词+which。

3.状语从句状语从句指句子用作状语时,起副词作用的句子。它可以修饰谓语、形容词、副词或整个句子。状语从句一般由连词(从属连词)引导,也可以由词组引导。按意义可以分为时间、地点、原因、目的、结果、条件、方式、比较、让步等状语从句。I didn't manage t d it until yu explained hw. 直到你解释了怎么做后,我才会做。(时间状语从句)
