Analysis of the teaching material | The teaching contents is Qing Hua Primary School English, Unit 3 Lesson 21. This unit is mainly about the transports. The purpose of this unit is to describe transports and talk about their daily life by using simple present tense. The lesson is designed as a speaking lesson. According to the new curriculum standards of English, Ss are expected to achieve the skills of a. know the meaning of the sentences, b. talk about the transports, talk about ‘How do you go to school? How do you travel? talk about their ideas, listen and get the right answer |
Analysis of the students | This class is in grade 1, they are active and curious, interested in new things. Therefore I should design many activities to arise the Ss’ interesting. Furthermore, after learning English for 1 year, they have a little basic English background knowledge, so as the teacher I should attach importance to the communication with them, and provide the chance of using language. |
