【教学过程】
Step 1: Greeting
Step 2: duty report
Step 3: Lead-in:
T: when you come to this school, you meet many new students, and now, you have made friends with them, you have many new friends now, right?
Ss: yes.
T: Good.Today, I’ll introduce two new friends to you, do you want to know them?
Ss: Yes.
T: OK, let’s meet them together.
Step 4: Reading
1.Read the passage quickly and try to find out the new friends’ names
Learn the new word: e-dog.
2.Find out their relationship
Learn the new word: master.
3.Read the dialog together, then ask some students come to the front to act it.
Step 5: Part A
T: There’re six new students, they meet each other in their new school. Let’s look together, what are they saying?
Learn the new words: wear glasses.
Students learn, read and act Part A.
Step 6: Part B
Part B1: Ask students to write the correct greeting under the pictures,
Part B2: Give the students 3 minutes to greet each other.
Step 7: Consolidation
Read the comic strip together, and try to repeat it.
