T: We met six new friends. They are in Beijing Sunshine Secondary School. Who are they? Do you remember?
S: Millie, Simon, Kitty, Amy, Sandy, Daniel.
T: Right.
Talk about them and review these words. (Wear, glasses, ponytail, bunch).
T: Are they tall or short?
How old are they?
What do they like?
Do you know? Do you want to know? Let’s read something more about them.
Step 4 Reading.
1.Read the passage quickly. Find out what they like doing. Then, finish Part B1.
2.Check the answers. Ask and answer.
What does Millie/… like?
Write the answers on the blackboard..
Learn the new words: dance, club
3.Read the passage again. Ask some more questions. Write something on the blackboard when they answer the questions. Learn the new words, too. (tall and slim, come from, be born, work hard, enjoy )

Who’s tall? Who’s short? Who’s small?
Do you know anything more about them?
Step 5 Listening.
Listen to the tape. Ask the students to read with it.

Tell whether the statements True or False.
Step 7 A game.
Who’s my friend? Describe what he or she is like. Ask them to guess.
Step 8 Homework.
