教学目标：

（一）知识与技能：

1.能掌握单词：tiger, elephant, koala, panda, lion, giraffe, cute, zoo, animal, lazy, smart, beautiful, kind, Australia, Africa.

2.掌握重点句型：

（1）Let’s see the panda first.

（2）——Why do you want to see them?

——Because they’re interesting.

（3）——Where are they from?

——They are from China.

5.能够询问和回答喜欢、不喜欢某种动物的原因。能够用所学的形容词和句型描述动物。

（二）过程与方法：通过学生自主学习法和探究法来掌握重要知识点。

（三）情感态度与价值观：教导学生动物是人类的朋友，要热爱和保护动物。

教学重点：

1.掌握重点词汇与句型。能够询问和回答喜欢、不喜欢某种动物的原因。。

2.训练学生的听说能力，提取和把握相关信息的能力。

1.能够用所学的形容词和句型描述动物。

2.学习听力技巧，快速记下要点。

教学过程：

第一课时

Step 1 Independent study（自主学习）

在课文中找出与以下中文对应的英文句子：

1.让我们先去看看熊猫吧。

2. —你为什么想看它们? —因为它们有趣。

Step 2 Lead in(导入)

日常问候，然后问学生：Do you like animals? Let’s go to the zoo and see some animals!创设情景，导入新单词zoo, animal等。

Step 3 Presentation(新授)

1.课件出示本节课需要学习的动物的图片，激发学生兴趣，询问学生：What kind of animal is this? 引导学生根据音标拼读动物新单词。然后，问学生：What do you think of it? Is it kind? 引入描述动物的形容词scary,smart等。

2.巩固新单词：课件出示动物图片，随机请学生说出动物的英文名词以及用所学的形容词描述。

3.给学生1-2分钟时间完成课本1a，然后请学生说出自己的答案，注意纠正学生的单词发音。

4.1b听力：请学生说出题目的意思，然后播放听力。听第一遍，学生自主完成；听第2遍，边听边对答案。

5.1c pair work 给学生2分钟时间，同桌间用本节课的新单词套用到以下句型中，练习对话。

A: Let’s see the ________.

B: Why do you want to see them?  

A: Because they're ________.

请学生展示对话，教师注意给予鼓励和表扬。

6.课件出示世界地图，根据图示，师生练习对话：Where are            from?They are from            .例如：课件先出示熊猫图片，T:What’s this? Ss:Panda. T:Where are pandas from. Ss:They are from China.

      以此导入地点新单词：Africa, Australia。

7.听力练习2a,2b。

（1）师生一起理解题意，先根据表格内容做解读，然后播放听力。 

（2）听第一遍,完成2a。Draw a line from the animals to the description words and the countries they  are from. 

（3）听第二遍,完成2b。Complete the conversation.

（4）让学生看着听力原文再听一遍，注意里面描写动物的句子，并划出。

（5）全班齐读一遍听力原文。

Step 4 Practice(练习)

复述2a,2b的听力原文。Retell the dialogues and fill in the blanks.

Julie likes_______. Because they’re___ ____interesting. They’re from ______. John likes_______.Because they’re very ______and they’re from ____________.Julie______ ______ lions, because they’re really _______. The lions are from ____________.

Step 5 Consolidation(巩固)

Do a survey: Ask your group members their favorite animals and why.

Report:My favorite animals are...,because they're... .

They are from...and they like ....

My friend, … 's favorite animals are …

Step 6 Summary

本节课主要学习动物名词、描写动物的形容词、动物来自的国家的名称。学会询问和回答自己喜爱、不喜爱的动物以及原因。

Step 7 Homework

1.Do you keep a pet (宠物)at home? Can you  introduce your pet to us? Your introduction should include the age, look(外貌) and color. Where is it from? Please  write several sentences, and next class, you can introduce your pet to us.

2.整理和背诵新单词和课本听力原文。

Step 9 Teaching reflection(教学反思)

本节课主要学习动物名词、描写动物的形容词、动物来自的国家的名称。学会询问和回答自己喜爱、不喜爱的动物以及原因。自主学习环节已经让学生自行重点句型，后续练习中，学生对重点句型印象也会比较深刻。动物名词和形容词是一起学的，但是学的过程中缺少代入句子中练习，和句子一起练习效果会比较好。对课件不够熟悉，后续上课准备需要更充分。Consolidation环节，write a report改成make a report,写改成说更好，突出听说课的特点。最后总结，是以单词的形式总结，以对话、复习句型的方式总结比较好。
