Step 1 Revisin
Revise the animals’ names by shwing sme pictures.
Step 2 Presentatin
1. Present sme pictures and sme infrmatin abut the animals.
2. Students use the cmparative degree t cmpare the animals.
3. (1a) Cmpare facts abut Elephant and Panda. Use the language in the bx t help yu make sentences.
Example sentences:
This elephant weighs many times mre than this panda.
(200 cm taller / shrter, weigh much mre / less, eat much mre / less, eat many times mre.)
4. Ask Ss t say their sentences.
Step 3 Listening
1. (1b) Get the students t listen t Listening Cassette 1b and check the numbers.
2. (1c) Listen again and cmplete the sentences.
3. Check the answers.

1. Get the students t retell the infrmatin abut the baby pandas accrding t 1c.
