    Step 1 Warm-up & Lead in(5 minutes)
    Greeting
    Sing tgether
    At the beginning f the class, the teacher will play a chant “What wuld yu like?” and guide the whle class sing tgether.
    Revisin:Hungry mnster
    The teacher will shw the wrds that need t be reviewed n the blackbard, then mve with a big muth mnster. The student will say: "yummy,yummy,yummy,stp." When the students say stp, the teacher will stp at ne wrd, then the students need t say the wrd.
    (Justificatin: The chant and game are jyful which can aruse students’ interest t participate in teaching activities. Meanwhile, they can als lead t the tpic f this lessn naturally.)
    Step 2 Presentatin (15mins)
    New wrd presentatin:
    After the game, the teacher will ask students sme questin:
    Q1: In these fd, what kind f fd d yu like?
    Q2: D yu knw what fd I like?
    Teachers will shw different degrees f liking thrugh the number f different smiling faces, and finally present the new wrd favrite.
    Then the teacher will set up a situatin “Fllw Sarah Arund The Gurmet Street” and shw the new wrds in each stre.
    Ice-cream stre:
    The teacher will first shw the picture f ice cream and then shw the new wrd sweet. After that, the teacher will ask students t lk, chse and say which fd is/are sweet and nt sweet.
    Fruit stre:
    The teacher will first shw tw pictures (stale fruit & fresh fruit) and ask students what kind f fruit shuld they buy and why, teaching the new wrd fresh. After teaching the new wrd, the teacher will ask the students t classify fresh and stale fruit.
    Vegetable stre:
    The teacher will first shw pictures f vegetables, then shw a salad which is made frm vegetables, and then teach new wrds healthy. After that, the teacher will ask students t classify healthy fd and unhealthy fd.
    Ht-pt stre:
    The teacher will first shw a picture f ht pt and guide the students t bserve what is in the ht pt, then shw the picture f ht pepper and teach the new wrd ht.
    Fast fd stre:
    The teacher will shw a picture f fast fd and ask what is in the fast fd restaurant, then shw hamburger, and ask the students whether they like it and why? Because yummy, and then shw the new wrd delicius.
    New sentence presentatin:
    The teacher will play a recrding and ask the students t listen t the recrding and answer the questins, then present the new sentences f the lessn.
    (Justificatin: Creating situatins can attract students' attentin and make students enter the state f learning quickly. Thrugh a large number f pictures and cmparisns, students can mre easily understand the meaning f new wrds and establish a crrect view f eating and learn t make a crrect evaluatin f fd.)
    Step 3 Practice (13mins)
    Vcabulary practice:

    Whle class wrk: Bm Game
    Sentence practice:
    Pair wrk: The teacher will ask students t share with their partner abut their favrite fd.
    Step 4 Prductin (10mins)
    1.Cmpare and think: The teacher will shw students tw different eating diet and ask student t chse which ne is gd.
    2.Grup wrk: The teacher will ask students t make a menu fr their class party.
    (Justificatin: Thrugh these activities, students can further master new wrds and sentences and learn hw t use these wrds and sentences in life. In additin, pair wrk and grup wrk als cultivate students' teamwrk cnsciusness and cperatin ability.)
    Step 4 Summary & Hmewrk (3mins)
    Summary:
    The teacher will ask students t act as an assistant teacher t cnclude what we have learned this class. Then make a summary tgether.
    (Justificatin: Reviewing the imprtant knwledge in this lessn can deepen students’ impressin and frm gd study habits)

    1.Read the wrds and sentences three times.
    2.Write an essay abut yur favrite fd.
    Optinal:
    D a survey abut yur family’s favrite fd and draw n the paper.
