T figure ut if there’s sme kind f principle that can help explain wh becmes a flash in the pan and wh has a lasting music career, Justin Berg, a scial scientist wh researches creativity at Stanfrd University’s business schl, studied the sngs frm pp music charts. He used a database f abut 3 millin sngs frm 1959-2010 released by recrd labels that had prduced at least ne hit in the United States ver that time.
