Cantnese pera was riginally called Nanxi(Suthern pera) in the Jiajing perid f the Ming Dynasty, and this beautiful art frm has pleased audiences fr hundreds f years. By absrbing the flk meldies and tunes f Guangdng, and mixing many different pera styles that were ppular at the time, Cantnese pera develped during the 16th century.
