The type depends n the species that need t crss and the gegraphic features f the land. The mst cmmn frms are bridges, verpasses and tunnels. Planners are increasingly including them when they design highways and rad imprvements. The crssings greatly reduce the number f crashes, prvide a safe crridr fr animals and recnnect animal habitats.
