【教学过程】
Step 1 Warming up
1．Say hell t the students and tell them we are ging t play a game.Yu can say like this: I will divide yu int 6 grups and each grup will have a picture f a famus persn.Yu wrk in grups and intrduce the persn.Let’s see which team is the best.Are yu clear? Ready?
2．The teacher plays the PPT and shws the pictures t them.
Step 2 Revisin
Shw sme exercises and ask the students t cmplete them.Then teach and explain the new wrds in the sentences.
Step 3 Reading
1．D Activity 1 and check the answers.
2．Ask the students t read the passage and check the true sentences in Activity 2.
3．After reading，the students check the false sentences in Activity 2.
4．The students read the passage again and underline the crrect wrds in Activity 3.
Step 4 Language pints
The teacher shws tday’s useful sentences and explain them.
1．Hell，everyne.大家好。
everyne不定代词，意为“大家；每人”，表达的是整体概念。
如：Everyne is here.大家都在这儿。
Everyne likes Tm.每个人都喜欢汤姆。
[注意]everyne作主语时，谓语动词用第三人称单数形式。
2．This is Lingling and her English name is Lucy.这位是玲玲，她的英文名叫露西。
This is...向别人介绍某人时说 “This is...”不用 “That is...”。
如：This is Tm.这是汤姆。Tm，this is Jack.汤姆，这是杰克。
[注意]this is 不能缩写，而 that is 可以缩写成that’s。打电话时，介绍自己用this，询问对方用that。
如：This is Lucy speaking. Is that Lucy speaking?
3．Gd t see yu.很高兴见到你！
此句为熟人之间见面常用的问候语，还可以说：Nice t see yu./Glad t see yu./Pleased t see yu./It’s nice t see yu all.很高兴见到你们所有人！句中all为代词，意思“每个，全体”；作主语时，be动词用are。
如：All the students are here tday.所有的学生都到齐了。
4．I’m Wang Lingling and I’m thirteen years ld.
我叫王玲玲，我今年十三岁了。
介绍自己名字的时候可以用“I’m”、“I am”或“My name is...”，此句还可以说： My name is Wang Lingling.另外，这里的“ ld”，表示……几岁，可以省略，直接说成：I am thirteen.对它提问用：Hw
5．Wang Hui is my friend，but he is nt in my class.
王辉是我的朋友，但是他不在我的班里。
but连词，连接前后两个具有转折意义的并列成分或并列句，意为“但是；然而”。
如：We are gd friends，but we aren’t in the same class.我们是好朋友，但不在同一个班里。
I can speak English，but he can’t.我会说英语，但他不会。
辨析：but与and
6.Beijing is the capital f China.北京是中国的首都。
capital此处用作可数名词，意为“首都；省会”，其复数形式为capitals。
如：Is Lndn the capital f England？伦敦是英国的首都吗？
The capital f Shandng Prvince is Jinan.山东省的省会是济南。
[拓展]capital还可作形容词，意为“大写的”。如：This is a capital letter.这是个大写字母。
7．Shanghai is a very big city.
上海是个很大的城市。
very副词，意为“很，非常”，修饰形容词或副词，表示程度。
如：This bag is very small.这个书包很小。
It is very ht tday.今天非常热。
[注意]very不能修饰动词，修饰动词可用much或very much。
如：I like cats (very) much.我很喜欢猫。
8．Tny is my first name and Smith is my last name.
托尼是我的名，史密斯是我的姓。
family name ＝ last name 姓。
与中国习惯不同，大多数英语姓名有三个名字：名，中间名和姓。他们的姓放在最后。(中间名一般很少用)如果你要称呼别人为……先生，夫人，小姐时，只能在family name也就是last name前加上Mr，Mrs，Miss。

1．The students lk at the pictures and write sentences.Finally，ask three r fur students t shw their answers.
