I'll read quickly. on page + 数词,表示“第几页”page n.(书刊或纸张的)页,面,张 赶快;急忙(做某事)hurry v.匆忙;赶快 adj. 预期;预定 我还没有读完。 两周后“in+一段时间”意为“在……(时间)后”, 常与将来时连用 至少 v. 弄清,了解Steve,have you decided yet which book to write about for English class? which book to write about是“疑问词+不定式”结构。在从句中,从句含有疑问代词(副词)引导的从句可替换为“疑问代词(副词)+不定式结构”,此结构常放在tell, show, teach, learn, know, wonder, forget,decide等动词之后作宾语。例句:你能教我怎样骑马吗?Can you teach me how to ride a horse?例句:我不知道该在哪下车。I don't know where to get off. Please put them down.例句:它是一本有趣的书,他对它爱不释手。It is an interesting book and he can't put it down.put 短语put up 张贴;搭起 put on 上演;穿上put off 推迟put away 放好;收拾put in 插话put up with 忍受;容忍put out 熄灭 You should hurry up. The book report is due in two weeks. hurry作动词,可表示“赶快;匆忙”。其中hurry up在口语中常用来表示催促,意为赶快;急忙(做某事)【搭配】in a hurry匆忙地, hurry off匆忙离开, hurry away匆匆离去。due为形容词,意思是“预定;预期的;预计”。后面引出预期的时间、地点等,还常构成短语be due (to do sth.)或be due (for sth.)。例句:她的宝宝预计在下个月出生。Her baby is due next month.例句:快点吧,要不然你今天准会迟到。You must hurry up, or you'll be late today.Amy and Steve are talking about their book report for English class.
