It is imprtant fr us t master sme basic living skills t prepare us fr ur future life. That is why I learned hw t ck during the May Day hliday.
Since my mther is skilled at cking, I decided t learn frm her. Early in the mrning we bught sme ingredients, including sme vegetables, meat and a fish in the lcal market. Once we gt back hme, I began t wash and cut them carefully. Under the guidance f my mther, I turned n the gas cker. I first stir­fried tw vegetables. Then I cked meat with ptates. The mst difficult task t d was ck fish with tmates. Hwever, I finally did it.
The mment I put the dishes n the table, my parents gave me a thumbs­up. I felt s prud that I shared husewrk with my parents, which als shwed I had grwn up.
