In Octber, Oxfrd English Dictinary(OED) released an update n its language n climate change and envirnmental sustainability.

Besides adding these new wrds, sme ld wrds abut climate have been given new meanings. The phrase “climate refugee” is an example. In the 19th century, when peple spke f climate refugees, they wuld be describing thse wh had mved t a place where the climate is healthier.
But nw as climate changes and extreme weather events appear frequently, the phrase refers the peple wh are frced t mve in respnse t extreme weather r rising sea levels.
