    Thus, making a cnservative assumptin that citizens wh adapted their diet switched t high prtein nn-meat meals n Fridays, the researchers estimated that this equated t apprximately 875,000 fewer meat meals a week, which saved 1,070 tnnes f carbn, r 55,000 tnnes ver a year.
