Teaching Prcedure:
Step 1: Warm-up (5 minutes)
Greet the students and have them review the cntent f the previus lessn. Spark their interest in the tpic f this lessn, such as: "Hw much is yur favrite ty?"
Step 2: Presentatin (10 minutes)
Prepare pictures r real items related t shpping, such as clthes, shes, etc. Shw the pictures and guide the students t discuss. Present the related vcabulary n slides r the blackbard, and ask the students t repeat after yu.
Shw the pictures frm 1a and ask the students, "What can yu see in the pictures?" Let them answer.
Have the students read the wrds in 1a tgether, and then match the wrds with the items in the pictures.
Ask the students fr the answers.
Step 3: Listening practice (15 minutes)
Have the students carefully read the wrds in 1a again.
Play the recrding fr 1b and ask the students t listen carefully and circle the wrds they hear.
Check the answers.
Step 4: Grup activity (15 minutes)
Shw the pictures and ask classmates, "Hw much is it?" Tell the students hw t respnd.
Let the students find a partner and practice n their wn.
Invite a few pairs t have a cnversatin.
Step 5: Survey (5 minutes)
Divide the students int grups f 4-5 peple. Distribute cards with the names f different prducts n them. Instruct the students t stand up, cmmunicate with ther members in their grup, and pass the cards t anther grup member. Ask the students t ask each ther abut the prices f the prducts and recrd the respnses frm ther grup members. Encurage active interactin and discussin, prviding assistance and feedback.
Invite sme students t share their survey results. Fr example, "Mst students in my grup think the T-shirt is $10." Summarize the students' perfrmances and answers, highlighting their different pinins and understandings.
Step 6: Hmewrk Ask the students t write a shrt paragraph describing their favrite items, their prices, and reasns fr purchasing them. Encurage students t discuss with each ther after class t understand ther classmates' perspectives and reasns.
