    1.正确使用am和are。
    2.区分五个元音字母,并能按照26个英语字母中的元音读音将字母分类。
    教学过程
    ◆Step 1 Leading in
    1.Warming up by greeting students with the useful expressins learnt yesterday.Then students greet each ther in pairs like this:
    S:Gd mrning/afternn/evening! Hi!/Hell!
    S:Gd mrning/afternn/evening! Hi!/Hell!
    2.Ask students t sing the English letter sng tgether.
    3.Ask students t write the 26 English letters n their exercise-bks and 2 students write them n the blackbard.Then crrect their mistakes.
    ◆Step 2 Listen and Practice 1a
    1.T:Yesterday we learnt sme useful expressins abut greeting.Nw let’s study anther way f greeting thers “Hw are yu?”.In Chinese,it means “你好吗?”(The teacher writes the sentence n the blackbard.)
    We usually answer it like this:I’m fine,thanks./Fine,thanks./ I’m OK.( The teacher writes the three sentences n the blackbard.)

    2.Ask students t read after the teacher three times.
    3.Play the recrding.All the students listen t the cnversatin carefully.Pay attentin t its Chinese meaning.
    Ask tw students t read it in frnt f the class.Next,ask anther tw students t translate it int Chinese.
    4.Students read it in pairs and make their wn cnversatins.Ask sme pairs t act ut their cnversatins in the frnt f the classrm.
    5.Explain the usage f “am” and “are”.“Am” and “are” have the same meaning.They are all translated as “是”.But their subjects are different.The subject f “am” is I.And the subject f “are” is yu r plural nuns r prnuns.
    ◆Step 3 Write 1b
    1.T:Lk at the bys and girls.D yu remember them? Please write dwn their names.
    2.All the students write dwn the names f the children.Check the answer in grups.
    3.Ask students t write the names in the alphabetical rder.Check the answer in grups.

    ◆Step 4 Write and pair wrk 1c and 1d
    1.T:Nw,bys and girls! Chse an English name fr yurself frm the bx and write it n a piece f paper.Wh can tell me yur English name,please? (Sme students may say ut their English names.)
    2.T:Nw lk at the picture in 1d and read the cnversatin in pairs,please.
    3.T:Use yur English names t greet each ther in yur grup.
    4.Ask sme pairs t act ut their wn cnversatins in the frnt f the class.
    ◆Step 5 Listen and Practice 2a and 2b
    1.Play the recrding and ask students t listen t the cnversatin carefully.At the same time they try t put the cnversatin in 2a in the crrect rder.
    2.Check the answers.Ask sme students t say ut their answers.(4,1,3,2)
    3.Tell students t practice the cnversatin in 2a with their partners with their English names.
    4.Ask sme pairs t act ut their cnversatins in the frnt f the class.
    ◆Step 6 Listen and sing 2c
    1.Ask students t read thrugh the English sng in 2c and try t understand the cntent.
    2.All the students listen t the sng carefully.
    3.Students listen and sing after the sng three times.
    4.Sing the sng tgether.

    1.Tell students that there are 5 vwels in the 26 English letters.They are A a,E e,I i,O ,U u.The thers are cnsnants.Then the teacher writes the 5 vwels and their phnemes n the blackbard.Ask students t read after the teacher twice.Then students read tgether by themselves.
    2.Tell students t lk at the letters in the frm.Then read them ludly.
    3.Ask them t try t find ut the same sund in each grup.
    4.Let sme students read the letters and crrect their mistakes.

    1.Tell students t lk at the pictures in 3a and pay attentin t the time n the clcks.
    2.Ask students t make cnversatins in pairs.

    1.Ask students t write the missing big letter r small letter fr each ther.
    2.Check the answers in their grups.
