    Step 1 Greeting
    Step2 Warming-up and lead-in
    1.Warming- up
    Ask :What time d yu usually get up?
    Hw d yu get t schl?
    What time des she get up?
    Hw des she get t schl?
    2.Let’s have a chant . (using the PPT t shw the chanting cntent)
    I say d I say ding d ding .
    I say watch I say watch I say watching watch watching.
    I say clean I say cleaning clean cleaning.
    I say read I say reading read reading.
    I say talk I say talking talk talking.
    2. Lead-in Teach:
    Understanding phrases thrugh pictures
    watching TV, cleaning, reading a newspapers, making sup, talking n the phne, using the cmputer, listening t a CD, washing the dishes, exercising as the same way. (lk at pictures and understand the meaning f them)
    be able t understand “v.ing”
    Step3 Presentatin
    1. Asking the students “what are yu ding nw?” The students answer .
    2. Lead ut target languages.
    (Shw sme pictures n the screen and ask sme students t perfrm the actins.)
    eg. T: What are yu ding?
    S: I am reading a newspaper. (Help him/her t answer)
    T: What is he /she ding ?
    Ss: He /she is making sup.
    Step 4 Practice
    1.practice the wrds and phrases
    (1)High-Lw vice
    (2)Bm games.
    2. Practice the sentences
    (1).Ask and answer in pairs:
    What is he/ she ding? He/She’s……
    (2). Grupwrk
    A: What are yu ding?
    B: I am ding hmewrk.
    A: What is he/ she ding?
    C: He’s/ She's ding hmewrk.
    A: What are they ding ?
    D: They are watching TV.
    Step 5 Understanding the “Present Prgressive Tense”
    1. Let the students t bserve the v.-ing f the PPT, and discuss the questins:
    2. Accrding t the students’ answers, the teacher summarizes the Present Prgressive Tense.
    Step 6 Practice 1a and 1c
    1. Match the wrds with the peple in the pictures in Sectin A(1a)
    2. Pairwrk: ask and answer questins abut the pictures. (1c)
    Step 7 Listening 1b
    1. What are the peple ding?
    2. Write numbers frm 1a belw.
    3. Check the answers in pairs like this:
    A: What is Jenny ding?
    B: He is watching TV.
    A: What are Dave and Mary ding?
    B: They are listening t a CD.
    A: What is Jhn ding?
    B: He is washing the dishes.
    Step 8 Cnslidatin
    Ding sme exercises abut the Present Prgressive Tense. Let the students lk at the PPT, then finish the exercise with their grup wrk.
    Step 9 Summary
    The teacher and the students summary the knwledge that we have learnt this class tgether.
    Step 10 Hmewrk
    1. Remember the wrds, phrases and the sentence that we have learnt .
    2.Making a survey : call yur friends and ask what they are ding. Blackbard design:
    Unit6 I’m watching TV.
    What are yu ding? I’m v.ing …
    What is he\she ding? He\She is v.ing…
    What are they ding? They are v.ing…
