Sundy first began dancing as a child grwing up in Tyler, Texas. Her big break arrived in 1969 with a Bradway shw called Canterbury Tales. West Brmwich Albin player Jeff Astle died at the age f 59 after having develped a brain disease. A dctr said that his heading f ftballs during his career had damaged his brain and ruled that he had died frm an “industrial disease”.
The researchers tk 148 ftballers with an average age f 27, three quarters f whm were male and a quarter female. They develped a questinnaire t figure ut hw ften these ftball players headed the ball.
The players were given memry and learning tests, and tk a frm f MRI scanning (扫描),which can examine the brain structure by recrding the mvement f water mlecules (分子) thrugh the tissue. They then tk the same tests again tw years later.
“Our analysis (分析) fund that high levels f heading ver the tw-year perid were cnnected with changes in structure similar t findings seen in brain injuries," said Dctr Michael Liptn. “High levels f heading were als cnnected with a drp in learning perfrmance.
