Researchers at China Aerspace Science and Industry Crp, a State-wned defense cntractr, have develped and made the wrld’s first rbt whale shark(鲸鲨).
The rbtic shark has been n display in an aquarium(水族馆)at Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park since January.
A whale shark is a slw-mving carpet shark and the largest knwn living fish.
Designed and built by engineers at the Shenyang-based N 111 Factry, the underwater rbt is 4.7 meters lng, weighs 350 kilgrams and can mve 42 meters a minute.
Pwered by a lithium battery, it can swim, turn, flat and dive like a real shark by mving its mechanical fins(鳍). The muth and gills(鳃)can als pen and clse like a shark’s.
