    I. Teaching aims and learning bjectives
    By the end f the lessn, students shuld be able t:
    1. use new wrds and phrases crrectly;
    2. retell the text in their wn wrds;
    3. realize the imprtance f prtecting the envirnment.
    II. Teaching cntents
    1. New wrds and phrases: plastic, separate, recycling, allw, punish, fine, limit, depend, rich, resurce, wisely, prduce, difference, cut dwn, depend n/upn, keep it that way, cst little, run ut, make a difference
    2. New structures: It is a cuntry with high muntains and clean blue lakes.
    Things like glass, plastic and paper are separated int different grups and then recycled.
    We depend n its rich resurces t live.
    It is imprtant fr us t prtect it wisely.
    Remember that everyne can d smething t make a difference.

    Step 1 Lead-in
    1. Let’s make a difference
    Present pictures f Switzerland and sme plluted places in ur cuntry. Call n the students t d smething t make a difference.
    2. D’s and dn’ts
    T: Switzerland is a beautiful cuntry with high muntains and clean blue lakes. It has rich resurces. Why it is s beautiful?

    Step 2 Presentatin
    1. Grup wrk
    Separate the students int three grups (the Recycling Grup, the Law Grup and the New Energy Grup) t finish three tasks and learn the new language pints at the same time.
    Task 1
    The Recycling Grup:
    (1) What can be recycled? What shuld be dne first befre recycling?
    (2) Hw d Swiss recycle ld clthes?
    All the students:
    (1) Hw can we separate things?
    (2) What can be recycled?
    (3) What can’t be recycled?
    Language fcus:
    (1) 被动语态:be + past participle
    (2) Sme ..., sme ..., and thers ...
    Task 2
    The law grup:
    Cmplete a cnversatin abut hw t prtect the envirnment.
    All the students:
    Discussin: (1) What’s the purpse f the laws, fr punishment r preventin?
    (2) What can be dne t let mre peple knw and fllw the law rules?

    (1) Allw
    (2) Punish/Fine

    Energy grup:
    T: Can yu say smething abut prtecting nature accrding t the key wrds and phrases?
