1. Intrduce transitins
What is a transitin?
Shw the picture f a bridge and tell students that transitins are the bridges that allw a reader t mve frm ne idea t the next withut getting lst in the language. In writing, a transitin is a wrd, phrase r sentence.
2. Intrduce different types f transitins
(1) Cnnect the sentences by adding transitinal wrds.
(2) Why d we need transitins?
(3) Types f transitins
Transitins can be used t shw time and sequence, t add infrmatin, t give an example, t shw cause and effect, t emphasize, t cmpare and cntrast.
