Then helps Ss learn the usage of modal verbs one by one :(1)canA. 表能力:能;会 I can sing well.B. 表请求允许:可以;能Can I use your dictionary? C. 表猜测: 可能 He can‘t be at home now.D. 表邀请: 可以 Can you come to my party?(2) must, have toA. must表示主观“必须”, 没有人称和数的变化。B. must表示肯定推测C. must引导的一般疑问句,否定回答是needn’t.D. have to 表示客观需要“不得不”。E. have to有人称和数的变化。T asks: Besides CAN and MUST/HAVE TO, what other modal verb can you find?
