【辨析】fix,repair,mend
fix和repair都表示使受到一定损坏或失灵的东西恢复其性能或机能,其对象范围很广,可以用于从道路、机器到日常用品,如:repair/fix a machine/watch/rad;而mend表示修补破损的东西,使其恢复原样,一般指较小的物品,如:mend the windw/shirt/sck。

take after着重指因有血缘关系而相像，其同义短语是be similar t。take after是“动词+介词”型短语，无论是名词还是代词作宾语，都位于after后面。
