本课教学内容选自《英语 拓展模块》第七单元“Finding a Jb”读写板块(Reading and Writing)。本板块内容以求职应聘为主题,共有四个短语篇与一个长语篇阅读活动以及三个写作活动。目的是训练快速阅读及获取语篇主旨大意的能力和获取细节信息与理解语篇内容的能力,也为学生重视工作责任意识等综合素质提供了内容载体。该板块教学内容要求在求职应聘的语境中,学生能够理解理解语篇信息,梳理事件发展过程,认识求职应聘的全过程;能够读懂求职信,提炼关键信息,填写求职人员个人信息卡;熟悉求职信的结构要素,根据信息描述撰写求职信。
学情分析
求职应聘是与学生职业生涯紧密相关的话题。学生有寻找实习或兼职工作面试的体验,为读懂面试经历的文章奠定了生活基础,学生有进一步学习的意愿;但学生在长篇阅读中梳理事件发展存在困难,不熟悉个人简历、招聘广告、求职信等文体结构和特点,因拼写、句式积累不足而无法准确运用语言撰写求职信。因而教师在课堂上通过组织阅读求职应聘的各类文本,使学生感知、总结文本结构,先进行知识的理解应用,再迁移创新,最后能够在求职应聘的各类阅读文本中快速、准确地获取信息,理解主题,完成求职信的撰写。活动由易及难,不断增强学生表达的自信心,提高语言运用能力。
