Street Play Prject invlves lcal residents clsing ff their fr a few hurs s that children have a chance t play in the street safely with the help f vlunteers. She started it in her street, Beechwd Rad, and the idea caught n, and there are nw Street Play Prjects all ver the city. She first had the idea when her ldest child was still a baby, s that's abut six years ag nw-but it tk at least tw years f campaigning befre she was actually able t make it happen. S the prject's been up and running fr fur years nw. She'd lve t be able t clse the rad fr lnger-fr the whle weekend, frm Saturday mrning until Sunday evening, fr example.
