Like many freigners, I nly knew tw wrds f Chinese ( “hell” and “thank yu” ) when I came t China in 2009. As yu can prbably guess, my life was difficult fr a while after I arrived. Simple tasks like rdering fd r taking a taxi were quite stressful.
