I had a great time in Rme with my family. It was my first hliday t anther cuntry and I culdn't wait t g. I fund ut all I culd abut Rme frm the library and n the internet. Knwing abut the histry made seeing all the ld buildings, like the Clsseum, much mre interesting. We were able t d lts f sightseeing（观光）because the taxis and buses and the metr were cheap and fast.

It was s ht when my dad and I went t Rme last year that we usually waited until after the sun went dwn t explre the city n ft. During the day we went t museums, shps and restaurants. The pasta there is amazing, and I had sme Italian ice cream, called 'gelat', fr the first time. That was the thing I liked mst. After a few days in Rme, we decided t take a train int the cuntryside fr a day. It was nice t see all the small villages and farms.
