    1.Believe it r nt!信不信由你!
    believe it r nt!是口语中的常用句型。其完整形式是Whether yu believe it r nt.意为
    “无论/不管你相不相信’’或“信不信由你’’。
    2.Lk ut,Eddie!埃迪,当心!
    lk ut相当于take care/be careful,用于提醒或引起别人的注意。如:
    If yu dn’t lk ut,yu may fall n the ice.如果不小心的话,你会在冰上摔倒的。
    3.We can send sme t them.我们可以送一些(衣服和鞋子)给他们。
    send是及物动词,意为“发送,寄;派遣,打发’’,可接双宾语。如:
    She sent me a Christmas card.=She sent a Christmas card t me.她给我寄来一张圣诞贺卡。
    He sent his sn t return the bks t the library.他打发他儿子把书还给图书馆。

    (1)be able t意为“能’’,与can意思相同,当它们表示能力的时候,是同义的。但也有区别:①can只有两种时态,即can和culd,而be able t有多种时态。
    ②表示过去通过努力终于做成了某事要用be able t,而不能用can。如:
    All the peple were able t escape frm, the fire in time.所有的人都能及时地从大火中逃生。
    ③can可以表示猜测,be able t不可以。can 的这种用法主要用于疑问句和否定句。
    (2)pay fr意为“支付",pay...fr...意为 “花(钱)买……"。如:

    (1)enugh修饰形容词或副词时要后置。

    (1)动词不定式t prtect himself作目的状语。

    Unit8重点词汇和句型
    1.Please bring me smething t eat. (过去式brught) 请给我拿些吃的东西。
    bring sb sth= bring sth t sb,意为“给某人拿来某物”
    如:Wuld yu please bring me sme chalk?
    = Wuld yu please bring sme chalk t me?请给我拿些粉笔来好吗?
    2. I lve my parrt because he can sing, and I want t teach him t speak.我爱我的鹦鹉,因为他会唱歌,我还想教他说话。
    teach sb t d sth意为“教某人做某事”
    如:Simn’s father is teaching him t make a kite.西蒙的父亲正在教他做风筝。
    拓展:teach sb sth意为“教某人某事”。结构中的sb如果用人称代词,则要用人称代词的宾格形式。
    如:Mr Zhang teaches us English this term.张老师这学期教我们英语。
    4. My dg is the cleverest animal f all.我的狗是所有动物中最聪明的。
    cleverest是clever的最高级形式,意为“最聪明的”。
    形容词最高级用于三者或三者以上的人或物之间的比较。最高级前面一般加定冠词the。
    如: Marry is the thinnest f us there.在我们三个中玛丽是最瘦的。

    句中feed的意思是“喂养,给予食物”。

    eg. Cats feed n fish.猫以鱼为食。

    lk after ……well=take gd care f…… 照顾好……
    句中until的意思是“直到……时候”,相当于till,但until比till更加正式,until多用于句首。

    如:She didn’t hear frm her sn till last Friday.直到上星期五他才接到儿子的信。

    注意:
    (1)can’t表示“不可能”,may nt表示“可能不”,两者用法不同。例如:
