本课作为单元的第三课时，学生已经初步掌握目标词汇和句型，能够用已有的语言知识，对不同季节的气候特征和人们的活动进行描述。
语音板块和卡通板块作为相对独立的板块，教学设计更应围绕单元的主题，教学目标更应着眼于学生已有知识的整合和运用。
双元音[ai]的发音比较难，教师应重点教授学生发音的技巧与要求，特别区别于相近的单元音。在判断字母i是否发[ai]音的练习中，可以帮助学生更全面地了解字母i的不同发音。
