1. 能熟练运用句型What are yu ding? I’m… What is he/she ding? He/She is…进行对话。
2. 能理解并掌握现在进行时态句型的用法及规则。

1. 学生能掌握部分动名词变化规律、读音及正确用法。
2. 能初步运用本课所学的词汇和句型询问别人正在做什么。
四、教学难点
1. 学生能掌握部分动名词变化规律、读音及正确用法。
2. 能初步运用本课所学的词汇和句型询问别人正在做什么。

1. 教具:多媒体,单词卡,图片
2. 板书:写好课题 Unit 5 Helping ur parents
六、教学过程
Step 1: Warm-up
1. Greetings
2. Engjy a sng: What are yu ding?
3. Crsswrd Puzzle
T: Bys and girls, let’s finish the crsswrd puzzle.
Students try t fill in the blanks and review the key phrases.
Step 2: Presentatin
1. Let’s talk
T: Hw abut ur friend Jim? Des he like ding husewrk?
Is he lazy? T: When is it nw? Ss: It’s Saturday mrning.
T: What are they ding? Let’s check ne by ne.
T prvides Ss with sme pictures and help them review Stry time.
2. Let’s shw
T: Nw bys and girls, can yu use yur wn wrds t describe what they are ding n Saturday mrning?
学生根据背景图片和关键词尝试用自己的语言复述Stry time第1段。
3. Let’s be Jim
T asks Ss t act as Jim and try t answer the questins.
Students wrk in pairs, try t fill in the blanks and make the dialgue.
4. Let’s shw
T: Can yu use yur wn wrds t describe what they are ding n Saturday afternn?
学生根据背景图片和关键词尝试用自己的语言复述Stry time第2段。
5. Let’s chant
老师和一名学生示范,一边拍手一边问答,全班同学一起以问答的形式进行chant,既操练重点句型What am/is/are… ding?的问答, 又复习了课文中五个短语。
Step 3: Grammar time
Find the rules
T: Just nw, yu made a lt f sentences with V-ing. Can yu find the rules?
学生根据例句,从问句读到答句,寻找规律。
学生试说规律,教师总结。
问句:What + be动词+人称代词+ding?
答句:人称代词+be动词+现在分词.
Let’s say
学生快速说出现在分词形式。
总结ing形式变形规律
(1) 一般:在动词后直接+ing
(2) 以不发音的e结尾,去e,再+ing
(3) 以一个元音字母和辅音字母结尾,且重读闭音节。则双写末尾的辅音字母,再+ing
Step 4: Practice & Prductin
1. Act and guess
T: Cme here and chse a card. D the actins n it.
Others guess what yu are ding.
T prvides students with fur pictures and chses three students t the frnt f the class.
学生观察图片作出相应的动作,其他同学一起提问what is/are… ding, 注意be动词在问句中的使用。
2. Chse and say
T asks students t d it with 3 steps:
Chse ne card frm “wh” + “what”
Chse am/is/are
Try t make a sentence
Step 5: Cnslidatin
T: Jim is playing a game. The game is interesting.
What is Tim ding? Guess!
Tim is reading a stry: Visiting the z. Let’s enjy the stry.
Students listen t the vide carefully and try t find what they can see in the z.
Students read the stry again and try t find ut what they are ding.
T: Is the stry funny? Please lk at the pictures and fill in the stry.
Ss fill in the stry and read the stry in grups.
语法学习了还要会使用,体现英语的语用功能。故事Visiting the z是对学生所学的现在进行时进行检测,在欣赏故事的基础上把故事补充完整,让学生来写一写现在进行时并反馈。故事Visiting the z趣味性很强,让学生来演一演,对现在进行时的使用有一个更深的理解。

1. Play the Guessing Game with yur classmates and use the sentences we learn tday.
2. Use what we have learnt tday t make five sentences and write dwn.
