Period 3 (Section B 1a-1e)设计说明 本课时是对本单元目标语言的进一步运用。1a—1b通过课本图片和相关多媒体资料学习更多关于周末活动的短语和更多不规则动词的过去式;1c听力活动中的信息量较大,可通过听、读、角色扮演等方式加强学习效果;1d和1e的练习环节可通过看图片、看视频、做游戏等课堂活动来引导学生在自主探究、合作体验中有效训练。教学目标 1. 知识目标: (1)掌握单词和短语:fly(flew),kite;fly a kite。 (2)掌握一般过去时态的疑问句“Who went to the library?”“Did you do anything interesting last weekend?”等及其答语。 2. 能力目标: (1)学会运用一般过去时谈论上个周末发生的事情。 (2)训练学生在听的过程中获取关键信息并完成听力任务的能力。 3. 情感目标: 通过交流以前做过的事情,增进同学间的互相了解,增进同学间的友谊。重点难点 1. 重点: (1)本课时词汇。 (2)一般过去时态的疑问句及其答语。 2. 难点: 掌握一般过去时并在实际情景中自如运用。教学准备 1. 准备野营、放风筝等周末活动的图片。 2. 准备多媒体课件,1c的音频文件。教学过程 Step 1 Warming up & Leading in T:Good morning,boys and girls! Can you remember the story about the family of mice? Ss:Yes. T:OK. Role-play the story about the family of mice. ... T:Well done. Let’s talk about your last weekend. What did you do last weekend? S1:I went to the library last weekend. S2:I played basketball with my friends. S3:I studied for the English test. T:Look at the pictures. What did he do last weekend? S4:He did his homework last weekend. S5:He played badminton last weekend. S6:He went fishing last weekend. S7:He went boating last weekend. Step 2 Presentation T:Look at the pictures. What’s this in English? Ss:It’s a kite. T:What are they doing now? Ss:They are flying kites. T:Did you fly a kite last weekend? S1:No,I didn’t. T:I flew a kite last weekend. New words:kite,fly (flew)(板书生词) Read,talk and learn. fly用作及物动词,意为“放飞”。“放风筝”译为fly a kite/fly kites;fly也可用作不及物动词,意为“飞,飞翔”。fly的过去式为flew。 Step 3 Practice 1. T:Look at the pictures in 1a. Here are some things that Sally and Jim did yesterday. Please use the Simple Past Tense to describe the things in the pictures. S1:Sally flew a kite. S2:Jim swam in a swimming pool. S3:Jim studied for a test. S4:Jim sang and played the guitar. S5:Sally went to the library. S6:Sally had dinner with friends. T:Well done. Now find out the original forms (原形) of the verbs. sang—sing played—play studied—study had—have went—go flew—fly swam—swim 2. T:Please finish 1a. Match the activities with the pictures. (After two minutes,check the answers.) Answers:1. d 2. c 3. f 4. e 5. a 6. b 3. T:Now look at the pictures in 1a. Do you think the activities in 1a are fun? Draw a happy faceor an unhappy faceunder each picture. Attention:The students may have different answers for some items. For example,going to the library may be fun for some students and not fun for others. 4. T:Now you are going to hear a conversation between Sally and Jim. They are talking about their last weekend. Listen and complete the chart in 1c. 2. Listen again and check the answers. Answers:Sally:studied for a test,went to the library Jim:sang and played the guitar,flew a kite in the park,had dinner with friends 3. Make a report according to the notes in 1c. Model:Sally did her homework last weekend. 4. Make a conversation with a partner. Talk about what Sally and Jim did last weekend like that in 1d. (As the students practice,move around the room monitoring progress.) 5. Make a conversation. Ask what your partner did last weekend like that in 1e. (As they practice their conversations,move around the room monitoring progress and giving language support as needed.) 6. Read and learn. anything interesting意为“有趣的事情”,anything为不定代词,形容词修饰不定代词时要后置。anything多用在否定句或疑问句中。 I didn’t find anything important in today’s newspaper. 我没发现今天的报纸上有什么重要的内容。 Do you want anything else? 你还想要其他东西吗? Step 5 Make a survey T:Let’s make a survey in groups. What did your friend do last weekend? Name: Fill in the chart.
