Since 1971, the Universal Pstal Unin (UPU) has inspired yung writers aged 9-15 t write letters n a given theme t win exciting prizes. Cmpetitin theme
In 2024, participants will be encuraged t reflect n the future f the wrld under the theme: “At 150 years ld, the UPU has served peple arund the wrld fr mre than eight generatins. The wrld has changed enrmusly since then. Write a letter t future generatins abut the wrld yu hpe they inherit (继承).” The theme encurages yung peple t vice their thughts n current glbal challenges and prpse innvative slutins. It als allws yuths t draw upn the principles f the 2030 Agenda fr Sustainable Develpment, prviding a framewrk fr their visins f a better wrld.
Cmpetitin rules
• Entries must be in the frm f a letter and cntain the necessary parts f a letter (heading, greeting, bdy, cmplimentary clse, signature line and pstscript).
• Letters must be strictly in agreement with the tpic and cntain n mre than 800 wrds in the riginal language
• At the natinal level, the cmpetitin is rganized by UPU member cuntries. Entries must reach the UPU Internatinal Bureau n later than May 5th.
