Fr wrking parents with busy schedule, mrnings are hell: preparing meals, irning clthes, feeding the children, packing lunches, ensuring everyne has what they need fr the day... But I’m pleased t say my perspective n mrnings is sunnier than mst parents, thugh being wken at 6 am by kids was hardly a welcme additin t the night wl like me.
The different views first arise partly frm pinins n televisin. I dn’t see the harm in letting my kids watch a bit f televisin befre schl, s lng as they still make time t get dressed, eat breakfast and brush their teeth. This balance tk years t achieve: a rutine steadily drilled int them via daily practice -pause the TV prgram with cmplaints and screams-t fulfil each everyday activity; but, nw they’ve bserved that the quicker they perfrm their essential tasks, the quicker their entertainment will restart.
With mrning necessities cmpleted with speed and prficiency, then cmes the 15-minute walk t schl. In ur family, it’s me and the dg wh d the schl run, and it’s actually ne f my favurite times f the day. This quarter f an hur prvides me privileged access t my kids when they’re at their freshest; rather than at the end f the day, when they’re tired, hungry and annyed. They ask stimulating questins, “Hw is ice cream made?” “Hw lng wuld it take t drive t Mars?”, but they usually can’t hear my answers ver the drwning nise f the traffic.
Best f all, there’s the walk back: just me and the dg, enjying the silence. A mment t recharge and reset, ahead f a day’s wrk, and I am grateful fr the jy f my family, and perhaps mre grateful still that smene has just taken them ff my hands fr the day. Oh, what a beautiful mrning!

C. With a tight schedule.D. With freedm and self-discipline.

B. He can spend quality time alne with children.
C. He can usually find a lw-carbn way t get t schl.

27.What is the best title fr the text?

The cncentric circles(同心圆状斑点), als knwn as eyespts n butterfly, nt nly lk like real eyes but may als appear t glare directly at predatrs(捕食者)frm many directins, scientists have fund. This visual illusin, called the “Mna Lisa effect”, culd scare wuld-be attackers and buy the insects enugh time t escape.
Scientists suspect that eyespts, with dark “pupils(瞳孔)” in the center lk like real eyes t predatrs. Hannah Rwland, an eclgist at the Max Planck Institute wanted t see if the directin f this fake gaze cntributed t the effect.
First, Rwland and her c-authr trained chicks t attack a wrm hidden behind a paper printut f tw eyespts at the end f a path. When the eyespts’ pupils were specifically pinted in the chicks’ directin, the birds repeatedly ran tward the paper and then backed away, and they waited a few minutes befre attacking. But when the pupils instead appeared t lk away frm the directin f the chicks’ apprach, the birds attacked in secnds. Centrally lcated pupils, thugh nt as effective as nes that stared directly at the chicks, resulted in lnger delays than pupils that lked the ther way.
“This suggests that they really are paying attentin t the directin f the pupils in the eyespts and are perceiving them as eyelike stimulatin. The cncentric eyespts fund mst ften in the insect wrld may seem t the chicks like a pair f eyes that fllw them regardless f apprach angle,” says Rwland.
Natinal University f Singapre evlutinary bilgist Antnia Mnteir, wh was nt invlved in the research, says the study is a “cl” demnstratin f an evlutinary thery fr eyespts. “These butterflies can be encuntered frm all angles, s having the pupil centrally lcated ends up being pretty gd,” Mnteir says. Still, she says, the eyespts used in the study were several millimeters larger than even the largest cmmnly fund in nature, raising the pssibility that the chicks may have been extra frightened by the size f the paper eyes.
32. What is the functin f eyespts n the butterfly?
A. Making them lk mre beautiful.B. Sptting ptential dangers.
C. Helping them identify the directin.D. Prtecting them frm being attacked.
33. Hw did the chicks react when shwn the specifically-pinted eyespts?
A. They attacked immediately.B. They turned away in secnds.
C. They reacted cautiusly.D. They became very excited.
34. What des Mnteir mean in the last paragraph?
A. The eyespt is a butterfly’s pwerful weapn.
B. The experiment needs further prf.
C. The study first prpses an evlutinary thery f eyespts.
D. Butterflies in nature have small eyespts.
35. What’s the purpse f the text?
A. T appeal t readers t preserve butterflies.
B. T uncver the hidden bilgical secret f butterflies.
