    In Chile, peple try t eat almst everything with a frk, spn, and knife. Even if the fd invlves items that can be enjyed mre with the hands like chicken drumsticks and wings, it is custmary t use a frk and a knife. Here, peple believe that fd shuld never be eaten with ne's hands.

    Many a time, yur little ne may have asked fr a little bit f salt r pepper when eating ut. Hwever, in Egypt and Prtugal, asking fr salt and pepper is seen as a huge insult t whever cked the fd.
    Culture Understanding
    Different Cuntries, Different Cultures
    Just as every natin has a different culture, s d their eating habits. Cme and jin us n a culinary (烹饪的) trip arund the wrld and let’s have a lk!
    Here in Eurpe, there are great differences in eating habits amng different cuntries. While nrthern Eurpeans tend t prefer hearty(丰盛的)dishes, such as meats, cheeses, eggs, sausages and bread even fr breakfast, the mre suthern citizens chse a small sweet pastry(点心)instead. Cuntries such as Italy and Spain ften skip(略过)the first meal entirely and eat at a later time.
    In the United States, the day starts with quite a big breakfast. Pancakes, cereals, dnuts, bacn and eggs and hash brwns are typical US breakfast. Dinner ften cmes as a burger and fries r maybe a typical American BBQ with steak and ribs. One American habit is cutting up yur fd in small pieces upfrnt and then eating yur entire dinner with just a frk.
    The African kitchen is als very versatile(多种多样的). East Africans like t eat abslutely everything with the ppular bread “Injera” (a pancake-like bread) and rund ff almst every dish with plant seeds and rts such as “Manik”. Nrth Africans prefer their meals hearty and spicy. They like t eat a lt f beef, pultry(家禽肉) and lamb.

    Chinese embridery, a flk art with a lng traditin, plays an imprtant rle in the histry f Chinese arts and crafts. The ldest embridered prduct in China appeared in the Shang Dynasty. Frm the magnificent (华丽的) Dragn Rbe wrn by Emperrs t the ppular embridery seen in tday’s fashins, it adds s much pleasure t ur life and culture.Embridery is a brilliant pearl in Chinese art, which has fur majr traditinal styles: Su Xiu, Xiang Xiu, Yue Xiu and Shu Xiu. The Chinese wrd fr embridery is Xiu, which als means beautiful and magnificent.

    Peking Opera is listed as ne f the cultural treasures f China. It was brn when the “Fur Great Anhui Trupes” brught Huiju (徽剧) in 1790 t Beijing, fr the eightieth birthday f Emperr Qianlng. It was riginally staged fr the curt and was nly made available t the public later. Tday, Peking Opera perfrmers use fur main skills: sng (唱), speech (念), dance-acting (做) and cmbat (打). The fur main rles in Peking Opera is Sheng (生), Dan (旦), Jing(净) and Chu (丑). Tday Peking Opera serves as a bridge thrugh which the traditinal Chinese culture is intrduced t ther parts f the wrld.

    Dragn Dance riginated in China during the Han Dynasty, and is a traditinal dance frm in Chinese culture. Dragn represents wisdm, pwer and wealth. It is mst ften seen in festival celebratins. It is believed that perfrming dragn dance scares away evil spirits and all the bad luck, and brings in gd luck and wealth instead. This is why dragn dance is very ppular during Chinese Lunar New Year as well as during ther ccasins such as weddings and ther festivities.
