The chamelen effect was cnfirmed in an experiment by psychlgists Jhn Bargh and Tanya Chartrand in 1999. The part f their experiment included 78 peple, wh each spke with an experimenter. During the test, Bargh and Chartrand studied whether participants wuld cpy the actins f smene they hadn't met befre, like mving the ft and tuching the face.
