One f my teachers, Neil Pstman famusly declared that educatin shuld equip us with an effective "rubbish detectr." Smetimes bullshit (胡说) is just lies--what tday we call "disinfrmatin." Mre cmmnly, thugh, it is an indifference t truth rather than deliberately denying it. Liars believe in truth；they culdn't lie unless they did. In that sense, as Neil wrte, bullshit is "a greater enemy f the truth than lies are."
