    Unit 3
    本单元讨论的主题是“家务和许可”,其功能项目是“礼貌地请求”和“征求许可"。要求学生学会用情态动词 culd来礼貌地进行请求或者征求他人的许可。

    规律:都含有情态动词culd+动词原形。
    情态动词culd的用法
    (一)、表示有礼貌地提出请求。
    (1)Culd yu please …? 请你做某事可以吗?
    e.g. Culd yu please take ut the rubbish?
    请你把垃圾倒掉好吗?
    Culd yu please nt eat in class?
    课堂上你能不吃东西吗?
    (2)Culd I please…?常用于委婉地请求别人允许自己做某事,其后同样接动词原形。
    e.g. Culd I please g camping with my friends next mrning?
    明天早上我能和朋友们去野营吗?
    表示请求的问句的回答方式。
    (二)、culd 表示请求时,其肯定回答和否定回答都不用culd。
    肯定回答为:Yes,yu can./Sure./Of curse./Certainly./N prblem./I'd lve t./Yes,please./It's OK./All right./ Yes, sure. /with pleasure.
    否定回答为:Srry,I'm afraid nt./I'm srry,yu can't./I'm srry,but …/Of curse nt. /Srry, yu'd better nt...
    e.g. —Culd yu please d the dishes?请你洗洗盘子好吗?
    —Srry,I'm afraid nt. I have t d my hmewrk.
    对不起,恐怕不行,我得做作业。
    —Culd I use yur cmputer?我可以用你的电脑吗?
    —Certainly.当然可以。
    (三) 、culd 为can的过去式。意为“能”,用于表示过去的能力等,其肯定回答和否定回答都用culd。具体用法如下:
    e.g. —Culd yu play basketball when yu were 5 years ld?
    当你5岁时,你会打篮球吗?
    —Yes,I culd. / N,I culdn't.是的,我会。/不,我不会。
    三、总结情态动词culd的用法
    1.表示有礼貌地提出请求,意思是请你做可以吗?还可用于委婉地请求别人允许自己做某事,意思是我可以做吗?
    2.culd 为can的过去式。意为“能”,用于表示过去的能力以及许可。

    规律:都含有culd/shuld+动词原形。也就是我们今天要学习的提出建议的句型。
    提出建议的句型类别
    情态动词shuld,culd等可以用来提出建议。
    shuld+v ...“应该做”,shuldn't+v...“不应该做”,常用来提出请求和建议 。
    e.g. Yu shuld stay at hme fr a few days.
    They shuldn't be always very strict.
    culd “可以”也可用来给出建议。
    e.g. Yu culd call up yur teachers and tell them yur pinin(看法).
    注意区别:culd 和 shuld都可以表示建议,但culd表示比 shuld
    更加委婉的建议,意思是“可以”。
    shuld语气比较强烈,意思是“应该”。
    2. Why dn't yu +v.?
    Why nt +v.? 为什么不呢?
    e.g. Why dn't yu talk t yur parents?
    你为什么不和你的父母谈谈呢?
    =Why nt talk t yur parents?
    3.What abut ding sth ?=Hw abut ding sth?
    ...…怎么样?
    e.g. Hw/ What abut ging ut fr a walk?
    出去散步怎么样呢?
    I'm ging t the park. What abut yu?
    我打算去公园,那么你呢?
    4. Let's +v...意为“让我们做”。
    e.g. Let's g t the mvies. 让我们去看电影吧。
    5.Yu'd better (nt) +v...意为“你最好(不要)做”。
    e.g. Yu'd better g there by yurself.
    你最好自己去那里。
    Yu'd better nt smke here.
    你最好不要在这里吸烟。
    6. Will/Wuld yu please d sth 请你做…...好吗?
    e.g. Wuld yu please g with me?
    请你和我一起去好吗?
    7.Shall we +v 我们做…...好吗?
    e.g. Shall we g t the park?
    我们去公园好吗?
    8. Wuld yu like t d sth? 你想去做某事吗?
    e.g. Wuld yu like t watch TV?
    你想看电视吗?
    9.Wuld yu mind ding sth?你介意做某事吗?
    e.g. Wuld yu mind pening the windw?
    你介意打开窗户吗?
    如何回答提出建议的句型
    (1)、 同意对方的建议时,一般用:
    Gd idea. / That's a gd idea. 好主意。
    OK./ All right. / Great. 好/ 行/太好了。
    Yes, please. / I'd lve t. 是的/ 我愿意 。
    I agree with yu. 我同意你的看法。
    N prblem .没问题。
    Sure./ Of curse./ Certainly. 当然可以。
    Yes, I think s. 对,我也这样想。
    Sunds gd ! 听起来很好!
    (2)、对对方的帮助或要求表示委婉谢绝时,一般用:
    I dn't think s .我认为不是这样 。
    Srry, I can't. 对不起,我不能。
    I'd lve t, but I'm afraid…我愿意,但恐怕……
    四、连词until, s that, althugh引导状语从句的用法
    1)、until:在带有till或until引导的时间状语从句里,如果主句是肯定句,其含义是“一直到…...时”,谓语动词只能用延续性动词。如: live, wait , last, lve, like, stay, wrk, cntinue 等。如果主句是否定句,其含义是“直到…...才…...”, 谓语动词可用瞬间动词。
    e.g. He lived with his parents until he gt married.
    他与父母住在一起直到结婚为止。
    e.g. Dn't get ff until the bus stps.
    直到公共汽车停下来你才能下车。
    注意:until后面的从句中不能用一般将来时,应该用一般现在时代替。所谓的“主将从现”。
    e.g. He will stay here until his mther cmes back.
    他将待在这儿直到他的妈妈回来。
    2)、s that是连词,意为“为的是,以便”,引导目的状语从句。从句中常用can (culd),will (wuld),may (might)等情态动词。
    注意s that, in rder that和in rder t在用法上的区别。
    e.g.
    ①He studies hard s that he can wrk better in the future. 他努力学习以便将来能更好地工作。
    ②He studies hard in rder that he can wrk better in the future.
    ③He studies hard in rder t wrk better in the future.
    注意:s… that又可引导结果状语从句。
    e.g. Jack is s badly ill that he has t rest.
    杰克病地如此严重以致于他必须休息。(结果状语从句)
    3)、althugh引导的状语从句
    althugh的用法、意思相当于thugh(尽管,虽然),用来引导让步状语从句。它所引导的从句不能与并列连词but,and, s等连用,但可以和yet, still等词连用。
    e.g. Althugh the bk was ld, we decided t buy it.
    尽管这本书很旧,我们还是决定买。
    Althugh he was tired, he went n wrking.
    尽管他很累,但是他继续工作。
    注意:althugh(thugh)不能与but用在同一个句子中。例如:
    我们不能说:Thugh it was raining hard, but he still went ut.(×) 尽管雨下地很大,但是他仍然出去了。
    应该说:
    Thugh it was raining hard, he still went ut.(√)
    或It was raining hard, but he still went ut.(√)

    一、过去进行时
    1. 基本概念
    过去进行时表示在过去某一时刻正在进行的动作或过去某段时间内一直进行的动作。
    2. 结构 was / were + V-ing(现在分词)
    3.标志词 then, at nine last night, this time yesterday, just then at that time,the whle mrning 等
    4.基本句式
    肯定句:主语 + was/were + ding...
    I was writing my hmewrk at eight yesterday.
    否定句:主语+weren't (were nt) +ding… /主语+wasn't ( was nt ) +ding...
    I weren't ding my hmewrkat eight yesterday.
    一般疑问句:Were / Was+主语+
    Were yu ding yur hmewrk at eight yesterday?
    特殊疑问句:特殊疑问词+were/was+主语+ding
    What were yu ding last week ?
    5.一般过去时与过去进行时用法的比较:
    一般过去时表示在过去某个时间发生过的动作或存在的状态, 而过去进行时则表示在过去某一时刻或某一段时间正在进行的动作。
    例如: David wrte a letter t his friend last night.
    大卫昨晚给他的朋友写了封信。(信写完了。)
    David was writing a letter t his friend last night.
    大卫昨晚一直在给他的朋友写信。(信不一定写完。)
    6.难点辨析 when和while都可表示“当…的时候”,引导时间状语从句。
    1.主句的动作是持续性的,而从句动作是短暂性的,此时用when引导时间状语从句;主句用过去进行时态,从句用一般过去时态。
    句型:主句(主语+was /were ding sth) +when+从句(主语+did sth .)
    如,I was walking t schl when I saw a cat in a tree.
    2.主句的动作是短暂性的,从句的动作是持续性的,此时用 while引导从句;主句用一般过去时态,从句用过去进行时态。
    句型:While +从句(主语+was/were ding sth.),主句(主语+did sth .)
    如,While I was sleeping in the bedrm, smene kncked at the dr。
    3.主句和从句的动作在过去的某时刻或某段时间同时发生动作都是延续性动词,此时用while 引导从句。
    句型:(主语+was/were ding sth.)+while+从句(主语+was/were ding sth.)
    如,He was cleaning his car while I was cking.
    点拨:while 只能表示一段时间,不能表示某个时间点。在while引导的时间状语从句中,其谓语动词只能是延续性的,而且是与主句的谓语动词同时发生或存在。
