The study, carried ut by Kingstn University Lndn, and presented at the British Psychlgical Sciety cnference in Brightn, the UK, last week, als fund that thse wh just watched televisin seemed t be less kind and understanding f ther peple.
Fr the study, the researchers questined 123 peple n their preferences fr bks, TV shws, and plays. They were als quizzed abut the type f entertainment they preferred frm cmedy r rmance t drama. Then they were tested n their interpersnal skills. The researchers asked them abut their behaviur twards thers, whether they understd and respected thers' pints f view, and whether they actively helped ther peple.
Drawing n these respnse sheets, the researchers fund sme mind-bggling results. They discvered that thse wh read mre shwed greater psitive scial behaviur and a better ability t empathize with thers, while thse wh preferred watching TV didn't shw the same ability t empathize and were mre likely t shw unsciable behaviur.

Allen’s piece “Theatre D’péra Spatial”-which he created with Al image generatr Midjurney -wn first place in the emerging artist divisin’s “digital arts phtgraphy” categry at the Clrad State Fair Fine Arts Cmpetitin.
