When yu eat smething, yur stmach breaks dwn its large mlecules (分子) int smaller nes. Many peple like t eat pineapples. S when yu eat pineapples, they can “eat” yu by breaking dwn the mlecules that make up the cells (细胞) in yur bdy.
Pineapples have certain enzymes (酶) that can break dwn prteins (蛋白质). Many smaller mlecules like the pearls (珍珠) cme tgether t frm the lng pearl necklace f a prtein. Yu can cut a necklace with scissrs. In the same way, the enzymes in pineapples “cut up” prteins.
All living things have prteins. They are an imprtant part f the cells in yur bdy. If an enzyme can break dwn a prtein, it can break dwn cells as well. S will the cells f yur tngue (舌头) when yu eat pineapple. This is why yur muth will hurt if yu eat t much pineapple.
But luckily, the cells in yur tngue cure itself fast. And after yu have swallwed the pineapple, the special enzymes will be brken dwn by yur stmach. It wn’t “eat” yu anymre.
Why des pineapple have these enzymes? In fact, the enzymes in unripe (未成熟的) pineapple are strnger than thse in ripe pineapple. Therefre, sme scientists believe that they are created by the plant t prevent animals frm eating its unripe fruit. Once the fruit is ripe, its enzymes wn’t hurt an animal’s tngue and the fruit will be kay t eat.

Wat Bangna Nai Schl in Thailand held a flea market. There, students set up stalls (摊位) and they sld things that they n lnger needed, such as clthes and tys, instead f thrwing them ut.
The schl fund it was a prblem that many students threw away their persnal things when they were n lnger needed r used, even thugh they still functined (运转). Fcusing n the theme f waste management, the Ec Cmmittee f the schl decided t hld a flea market, where the students culd sell their persnal things s they culd be reused.
