The research cmpares the level f happiness children get frm material things with that frm experiences. The results shws that children aged 3 thrugh 12 get mre happiness frm material things than frm experiences. Hwever, lder children get mre happiness frm experiences than frm their pssessins.
“It means experiences are highly preferred by adlescents, nt just expensive material things,” Chaplin says. She cntinues explaining,“Dn’t get me wrng. Yung children d lve experiences. And given this cncept, theme parks such as Disneyland are being built everywhere. In fact, yung children are excited thrughut the experience.
