The researchers lked int randmized cntrlled trials that had reprted the effects f exercise interventins, lasting tw r mre weeks, n bld pressure between 1990 and February 2023. Frm a review f 270 trials with 15,827 participants, the researchers fund that amng HIIT (high intensity interval training), ismetric exercise, aerbic exercise, dynamic resistance training and a cmbinatin f the latter tw, ismetric exercise led t the greatest reductins in bld pressure.
It’s als imprtant t nte that there are ther lifestyle changes as well as exercise that can benefit yur bld pressure. These include keeping t a healthy weight, eating a balanced diet, cutting dwn n salt, nt drinking t much alchl and ensuring that yu cntinue t take any prescribed medicatin.
